)-- Shapiro Bieging Barber Otteson llp (SBBO) announced the election of Bo Anderson to partner. Anderson had previously been senior counsel at the Denver-based law firm.

As a business transactional attorney with an advanced law degree in taxation, Anderson’s practice focuses on banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate governance, entity formation and private equity transactions. Anderson provides legal counsel on complex commercial transactions in a broad range of industries.
Anderson is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, and he received his Master of Laws degree in Taxation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
Anderson is a member of SBBO’s Banking, Lending & Financial Institutions practice group, which handled bank merger transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $475 million in 2016. This included a $140 million merger that produced one of the biggest banks in Colorado.
