)-- It was announced last week by Terry Naulty, the GOEDC’s Board Chairman that the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation will launch a national search for a new Presidnet and Chief Executive Officer. Jorgenson Consulting Inc., of Greensboro, NC has been retained to conduct the executive search. The GOEDC hopes to have a new President and CEO in place within three months.
Madison Silvert, President since October 2013 left the end of May. Helen Jountjoy, Director of Workforce and Education is serving as Interim President.
The President/CEO will be responsible for an annual budget of approximately $800,000+ operating budget and a staff of 5. In addition, the President/CEO will be responsible for oversight, management and maintenance of a 100 plus acre industrial park and a technology business incubator.
