Las Vegas, NV, June 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Our society is afraid of the woman’s body! We feel the need to stigmatize, label and degrade the it. As a result, women have developed an unhealthy relationship with their bodies. This unhealthy relationship has caused women to unnecessarily place themselves at risk for reproductive health conditions, sexually transmitted infections, unintended pregnancies, and other unintended consequences of the failure to love their bodies. The really unfortunate part about all this is that women did not have a truly authentic, unapologetic resource to address this dissociation until now! “While I am certainly not the first person to write a book on vulvovaginal health, I am the first to write about how our vulvovaginal health is tied to every dimension (mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, social, biochemical, energetically, institutional, legal, political, physical) of our life,” explained Dr. TaMara

V! was written to break the cycle of negative, unhealthy intergenerational patterns that have been passed down from great-grandma, to grandma, to mom and to daughters. V! was written to address and dispel all the unhealthy and negative societal messages that women and girls have received about our bodies over the years. Finally, V! was written to create a healthy self-esteem and sex-esteem; and to give women permission to unapologetically own our bodies. “I must warn you that This book does not include any cutesy terms, slang phrases or steamy soliloquies of sex metaphors. That's because talking about vulvovaginal health is not to be taken lightly! In my world, making poor choices about your vulvovaginal health can be detrimental to your life. So, grab your pen and paper! School is in session! I am going to teach you everything that your mother never told you about vulvovaginal health!” explained Dr. TaMara.
