)-- John F. McKenzie is a partner at Baker McKenzie, a multinational law firm ranked as the second largest international law firm in the world in terms of annual revenue as of 2016. Mr. McKenzie joined the firm in 1976 and has since worked in Baker McKenzie offices in Caracas, Venezuela and Taipei, Taiwan. His practice is focused on cross-border transactions and international trade regulation.
Mr. McKenzie is a member of the International Section of the American Bar Association, the Legislative Council of the California Council for International Trade and the District Export Council for Northern California. Mr. McKenzie also serves as an associate member of the Northern California Chapter of the Association of Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers.
Impressively, Mr. McKenzie was the exclusive winner of the Lexology Client Choice Award for International Trade (California), 2013-2014. He was also the exclusive winner of the Lexology Client Choice Award for General Corporate (United States), 2013. Also of note, Mr. McKenzie is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Mr. McKenzie graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Williams College in 1969. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctor in 1976 from Harvard University, graduating cum laude.
