American Law Society Recognizes Walter A. Twachtman, Jr.
The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Walter A. Twachtman, Jr. has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.
Notably, Walter A. Twachtman, Jr. is a former member of the Board of Editors of the Connecticut Bar Journal. He served as a guest lecturer at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing and University of Massachusetts School of Nursing on medical legal issues. He was also a member of the faculty at the Second National Interdisciplinary Conference, Justice in Healthcare, Orlando, Florida (1988) and the Third National Interdisciplinary Conference, Justice in Healthcare, Chicago, Illinois (1990).
He is a member of the Elder Law section, Estate and Probate section, Real Property section, Planning and Zoning section, Construction Law section, and Environmental Law section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Walter A. Twachtman, Jr. earned his BA from the University of Connecticut in 1964. He earned his LLB from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1967, where he served as associate editor of the Law Review and as a member of the National Moot Court Team.
