Relax and Renew Events Launches Yoga and Business Retreat for Female Entrepreneurs

Relax and Renew Events offers events with a unique blend of health, personal development and business strategy, and launches its latest event: Finding Balance in Business Women’s Retreat.

London, United Kingdom, August 17, 2017 --( This retreat has been designed specifically to help female entrepreneurs, freelancers, small business owners and senior managers address two common problems:
1) Juggling the demands of work whilst looking after one’s health, including making time for adequate rest.
2) Carving out time to do some higher-level, long-term and strategic business or career planning.

Taking place in February 2018 in peaceful West Sussex this event provides a unique opportunity for business women to access world-class consulting advice and business coaching, whilst also learning effective, practical and realistic strategies to help manage their physical and mental wellbeing.

Helen Puddefoot, Co-Founder and Business Coach says, “One of the challenges commonly faced by those running their own businesses is the feeling of ‘running to stand still’ – being 100% occupied with the day-to-day running of the business and struggling to find the time to step back, reflect and do the strategic thinking and planning that are critical to success.”

“Often as a business owner your own health and wellbeing slip to the bottom of the priority list. However this short-term approach is guaranteed to lead to problems later, whether it is burnout or a major health crisis. Learning simple strategies to help you maintain your own mental and physical health is critical to longevity, success and happiness. This retreat provides the time and space for you to practise self-care and to discover enjoyable routines and health habits that leave you feeling balanced, refreshed and focused,” said Vicky Arundel, Co-Founder and Yoga Therapist.

The retreat will take place at Brooklands Barn in Arundel, West Sussex – a stunningly converted barn complex complete with sweeping views of the English countryside, an indoor pool, sauna and therapy rooms.

About Relax and Renew Events
Relax and Renew Events – offering one day courses, retreats and corporate events with a unique blend of health, lifestyle and personal development.

Relax and Renew Events was founded by two school friends who took very different paths following their degrees.

Helen Puddefoot, Business Coach, joined McKinsey and Company and worked across a wide range of organisations before joining Comic Relief where she ran their Red Nose Day and Sport Relief campaigns. She is now a freelance strategy consultant, business coach and trainer.

Vicky Arundel, Yoga Therapist, spent several years in marketing roles before leaving the UK to follow her passion and train as a yoga teacher and therapist. With over 18 years of personal practice experience and more than 1000 hours of formal training, Vicky’s teaching methods are driven by a sincere desire to make yoga practical, accessible and relevant to everybody, no matter their experience, age or health circumstances. Vicky now runs her own yoga therapy business in the UK called Surrey Yoga Therapy.

Relax and Renew Events was born out of the joint realisation that many of the core skills developed in yoga, such as self-awareness, mindfulness, discipline and accountability are central to coaching and indeed key to becoming successful in business.
