American Law Society Recognizes F. Ewin Henson III

Greenwood, MS, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- F. Ewin Henson III serves as an attorney for Upshaw Williams Biggers & Beckham, LLP. Upshaw Williams is a full-service, regional law firm with offices in Greenwood, Jackson and Hernando, Mississippi. Mr. Henson’s primary practice areas include: insurance coverage issues and litigation, toxic torts, commercial litigation, general tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, professional errors and omissions litigation (other than medical), governmental liability, automobile liability and trucking cases.

Mr. Henson earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political science from Mississippi State University, graduating with honors in 1972. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1974 with distinction from the University of Mississippi where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, the Moot Court Board, and served as the Secretary-Treasurer and Vice-President of the law school student body. Notably, he was named to the Who’s Who Among American College and University Students in 1974.

Thereafter, Mr. Henson practiced law in Clarksdale until he joined his current firm in 1987. He has remained active in the legal community throughout his career. Mr. Henson has been a member of the Leflore County Bar Association where he has served as president and vice president; he has been elected as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation; and he has been a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association since 1984, serving as Director, 2007, North Regional Vice-President, 2008, Secretary-Treasurer, 2009, President Elect, 2010 and President, 2011.
