Career Step is pleased to announce the launch of a new Physical Therapy Aide program designed to train students for a new healthcare career in as little as four months.

Lehi, UT, September 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and professional training, is pleased to announce the launch of its Physical Therapy Aide program. This new online program will help students gain the skills they need to excel in the growing physical therapy sector of the healthcare industry.

“We are excited to offer our new Physical Therapy Aide program for students interested in starting careers in this fast-growing field,” said Steve Tober, Career Step President and CEO. “Career Step's mission is focused on helping students gain job skills quickly and affordably so they can begin rewarding careers in the healthcare industry. With our online format coupled with strong student support, we make education more convenient and accessible and thereby empower students to learn when and where it works best for them.”

The new Physical Therapy Aide program includes 275 hours of curriculum designed to be completed in as little as 4 months. The training prepares students to help keep a physical therapy facility running smoothly as they interact with patients and medical personnel.

The program will teach students Microsoft Office skills, the duties of a physical therapy aide, anatomy and pathophysiology, among other topics. Upon graduation, students will receive a voucher to take the Certified Physical Therapy Aide Specialist (CPTAS) exam offered through the National Career Certification Board (NCCB).

“We provide education that enables our students to change their lives,” said Ben Hartman, Career Step Vice President of Enrollments. “We are excited for this new program as it will provide an additional avenue within healthcare for our students to work directly with patients. They will have another option when they decide which career path is right for them, their families and their career goals.”

Career Step has provided career education for over 25 years, specializing in job training for the growing healthcare industry. The school is dedicated to offering the best training to successfully prepare students to enter their chosen career fields.
