Local Organizations Raises $7000 for Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville

Noblesville Mini Marathon announced today their event held in May raised $7000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville. Over 600 people registered for the family friendly event, representing all fitness levels.

Noblesville, IN, September 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Scott Cranfill - Race Director, Jason Horack – General Manger of Hare Chevrolet, and Seth Warren – CEO of Riverview Health presented a check to Boys & Girls Club Executive Director, Becky Terry.

“The funds this event has raised over the last four years for the Boys & Girls Club, $29,000 collectively, have made an impact. The cost of an annual BGCN membership is just $45 while the cost for BGCN to provide services is $428. Donations from the Noblesville Mini Marathon help us to bridge the gap and to continue to provide high-quality youth development programs at an affordable price,” says Terry.

Horack says, “We love being a part of the Noblesville Mini Marathon and all of the positive benefits that it brings to our Community. When Courtney Cole (previous co-owner of Hare) started the Mini Marathon over 4 years ago she had the hopes of it turning into something huge that would help so many. Noblesville has never had its own Mini Marathon before this and it has grown into something incredible with the help of so many. All around, this year’s Noblesville Mini Marathon was a great success and it couldn’t have happened without the amazing efforts of everyone involved!”

“We love sponsoring the Noblesville Mini-Marathon. The mission of Riverview Health is to improve and preserve the health and well-being of those we serve, and this sponsorship does that in two ways – by encouraging physical activity with the races and also by benefitting the Boys and Girls Club, such a worthy organization. We’re happy to continue this partnership,” says Warren.

“I’m already looking forward to next year,”says Cranfill, “we learn a great deal each year and our goal is to make the event even bigger and better so we can donate more to the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville.”
