)-- SGS will host a series of bilingual, complimentary webinars focusing on the best practices and common pain points of transitioning to the new versions of ISO 9001 and 14001.
Every five years the International Organization for Standardization reviews all ISOs to ensure their validity and accuracy. In 2015, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 were issued new versions. All businesses certified to the old standard have been given three years to transition. The deadline for transitioning is September 2018. With one year remaining until the deadline, SGS has launched a campaign aimed at educating existing ISO clients on the benefits and best practices of transitioning to the new standards. This webinar series will begin in September and end in November, and will be presented by industry experts. Scheduled dates are:

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. It can be used by any organization, regardless of its field of activity or size. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 185 countries certified to ISO 9001. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, as well as many other business benefits.
ISO 14001:2015 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. It maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. It can be used by any organization regardless of its activity or sector. Using ISO 14001:2015 can provide assurance to company management and employees, as well as external stakeholders, that environmental impact is being measured and improved. There are more than 300,000 certifications to ISO 14001 in 171 countries around the world.
