RELYANT Awarded Task Order to Replace Playground at Military Family Housing at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam

Maryville, TN, September 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- On September 1, 2017, RELYANT was awarded a $161k Task Order to replace a Military Family Housing playground at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The task order stems from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) – Marianas Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) that RELYANT was awarded in July 2016. The work will include the removal and replacement of playground equipment, the removal and replacement of existing floor tile mats, and the provision of proper drainage to ensure the preservation of the playground improvements.

This award is particularly meaningful to RELYANT’s Regional Manager of Micronesia and Senior Project Manager, Dave Hayner, “We are especially honored to be provided the opportunity to lend RELYANT’s construction capabilities to these improvements and to support service members and their families on Guam. We hope that this playground gives these military families a safe, well-planned place to play and grow for many years to come.”

As RELYANT’s footprint continues to grow across Guam and the Pacific, we maintain an office and full time staff of over 20 personnel in Dededo, Guam. RELYANT is a licensed Guam contractor, member of the Guam Contractors Association, and sustaining member of the Society of American Military Engineers Guam Post.
