Raleigh, NC, February 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school for Trinity Academy of Raleigh, a K-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that the school’s Broadway Arts Conservatory will be holding open auditions for its summer rendition of the musical Honk! Jr. on Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m., with callbacks directly following at 4:30 p.m. The auditions will be held at the Trinity Academy of Raleigh, located at 10224 Baileywick Rd. All rising 3-12 graders and 2008 high school graduates are eligible to audition.

Merritt was responsible for last summer’s local sold out hit, Seussical the Musical, which featured performers from 10 different Triangle schools. His extensive career includes performances in such Broadway classics as Jekyll & Hyde, Porgy and Bess and Big River.

Honk! Jr. will be performed live on Friday, Aug. 8 and Saturday, Aug. 9 at the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory located at 3043 Barrow Dr. in Raleigh. For more information, contact Paige Holland Hamp with questions at (919) 602-5093 or phamp@nc.rr.com.
