It’s a one of a kind brewery in this region: We only serve growlers to go, and we only serve one beer: a tropical inspired double IPA,” says Tony Philipp, Owner and Captain of the brewery. The brewery has a Pirate-bavarian theme, with the logo: Work like a Captain, Drink like a Pirate!
Marketed as "The Smallest Brewery on Lake Norman," Jolly Roger Brew utilizes an advanced technology system (JR Brewtech), integrating German and west coast technology systems to brew quality beer in low volumes.
