Digital DNA's Rocket Cloud Showcased at the 4th World Litigation Forum

New York, NY, October 14, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Digital DNA’s Rocket Cloud, was showcased as part of the 4th World Litigation Forum 2017 - Silicon Valley on October 11, 2017 in San Jose, CA. Rocket Cloud’s technology was an example of how emerging technologies impact the litigation process to attendees from China, Italy, Nigeria, Mexico, Botswana and the United States. Presenter, Richard Rodney (President at iFi Consulting) said the event “was a great opportunity to expose global litigators to technology like Rocket Cloud.”

Rocket Cloud combines forensic data collections, case & evidence management as well as team collaboration that allows team members to work multiple cases and collaborate with investigative groups from any location. Rocket cloud lets you have one system to collect data from across your network and across the country.

Digital DNA’s Thomas Yohannan (Director, Market Development), believes “the rise of data driven legal software along with the changing role of lawyers as supply chain managers will lead to increased opportunity for forensics software such as Rocket Cloud.” It’s the fastest and simplest way to collect and retrieve more data, faster without the traveling, or having to send collection kits.

How it Works:

The Attorney or Forensic Examiner logs into the Rocket Cloud from their phone, tablet or computer. Devices are added to the Rocket Cloud with options for disk selection, search criteria, reporting, evidence destinations and the custodian’s email address.

The Rocket Cloud creates a self-collect email from your selected options and sends the self-collect to the custodian.

The custodian clicks the link that allows Rocket Cloud to take over by locking the target computer’s mouse and keyboard, closes the open applications, runs your searches, preserving the evidence into E01 format, writes the forensic report and will automatically upload the evidence package to the Rocket Cloud in minutes.

The Case manager does a great job of organizing the cases, deliverables, scheduling and device inventory.

Attorneys or Forensic Examiners can login into the case using their phones, tablets or computers and see the evidence files, review reports and upload additional documents and data associated with the custodian or device.

Security: The custodian can be behind firewalled, secured networks on encrypted hard drives and Rocket Cloud will crack the Bit Locker encryption, save the keys, index, bi-directionally search the data in 29 languages, preserve the evidence, encrypt it and upload it to your forensics lab in minutes. This process happens without the use of dongles, forensic software or remote desktop connections or even blank hard drives.

About DigitalDNA: Digital DNA allows digital investigators, service providers and general counsel to work with Rocket Cloud to pick and choose their data collection options. Rocket Cloud sends the self-collect email to the custodian and automates the data collection, forensic reporting and uploads the evidence in minutes.
