Celebrity Bartender to Feature Local Dentist for Charity Event at The Quarry Tap Room

Augusta, ME, October 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Abnaki Council 334 of the Knights of Columbus from St. Michael Parish has provided two local celebrities to participate in a Celebrity Bar Tending event to be held at the Quarry Tap Room in Hallowell on Monday October 30. Participating in the event are Dr. Robert Patenaude II from Patenaude Family Dentistry in Augusta, Grand Knight Patrick Dunn, aka Bananas the Bear from the University of Maine (1984), former Hallowell Mayor Dick Batchelder and well known local bartender - Peter Diplock. Between the hours of 6pm and 9pm on October 30 all tips are being donated to support Knights of Columbus charities and the Quarry Tap Room will contribute $1 for every drink sold.

The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882, by the Venerable Father Michael McGivney, a priest at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Conn. With charity as its first principle, the organization has grown to 1.88 million members worldwide. Last year, the Knights donated more than 173 million and more than 71.5 million hours of service to charitable causes.
