Advance Capital Management Hosting “Veterans Day Financial Planning Event”

RIA, Advance Capital Management, launches campaign to raise awareness of military members’ financial troubles with free financial advice and plans.

Southfield, MI, October 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- In honor of Veterans Day, Advance Capital Management is providing current and former military members with a unique service offering: free personalized financial advice. Its “Veterans Day Financial Planning Event” will be held on November 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in its Southfield headquarters (One Towne Square, Suite 444).

The event is an opportunity for current military members and veterans to meet with a financial adviser, ask specific financial questions and get a comprehensive personalized financial plan – all of which will be complimentary. Advance Capital’s entire team of advisers and back-office staff will be available to assist the influx of visitors.

Advance Capital chief executive officer Joseph Theisen commented on the event, saying, “We’re proud to give back to the men and women who serve our country and make sacrifices for our freedom and safety. Given the financial hardships many of them face, we feel this is the best way to show our appreciation for their service to our nation.”

Financial problems are one of the largest sources of stress in the lives of military members -- ahead of deployments, war and family. Statistics from the Defense Department also include financial troubles as a top factor in military suicides. Further, when service members return from active duty, they’re more likely to face severe financial challenges than civilians.

“Our goal is to not only help the individuals at our event to better manage their financial lives, but also to raise awareness of the significant financial challenges that so many service members and veterans, and their families, experience,” Theisen said.

Space for the event is limited, so registration is required. People can register and get additional information, including a list of important documents to bring, by visiting info.acadviser.com/vets or calling toll-free at 800-345-4783.

“A lot of Veterans Day coverage is of entertainment freebies, such as restaurant or movie theater discounts,” Theisen said. “We think personalized financial advice can have a much greater and longer lasting impact on the lives of the men and women who protect us.”
