American Law Society Recognizes Linda S. Buck

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Linda S. Buck has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.

Fort Walton Beach, FL, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Linda S. Buck is an experienced legal professional who practices at the Simpson Law Firm, based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Prior to embarking upon a career in law, Linda earned two undergraduate B.A. degrees, graduating magna cum laude from the University of West Florida, Pensacola in 1980. Thereafter, she graduated from Cumberland Law School in 1984 and became a Supreme Court certified mediator in 1991.

She has served as the in-house General Counsel for a major multi-state corporation, has acted as a mediator and corporate trainer, and has been an invited conference speaker. Notably, she was part of the litigation team working on the nuclear licensing of the Yucca Mountain Project, and is a published author. Her publications include the article “Four Keys to Unlocking the Winning Argument at Trial” for Barrister, in Spring 1995, and the book, Divorce: An essential Guide for Turner Publishing in 2012.

Linda is a former member of the American Bar Association, the American Corporate Counsel Association, the Department of Energy Contractor Counsel Association, the Department of Energy Safety Conscious Work Environment Association, Florida Association of Trial Lawyers, and is currently a member of the Okaloosa Walton Bar Association. She is member of Delta Kappa Pi International Fraternity in Education and the Pi Kappa Phi National Fraternity.
