North Shropshire College Celebrates Brilliant English and Maths Report

Oswestry, United Kingdom, November 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- North Shropshire College (NSC) is celebrating the recent release of its Association of Colleges (AoC) The Market Intelligence Data Exchange Service (MiDES) Maths and English Progression Report. The report, which has been developed for the AoC by national research and consultancy service RCU, analyses performance aspects such as student retention rates, learner progression and apprenticeships, as well as many others for all colleges that are AoC Members.

The report showed that overall English GCSE pass rates were 28 percent higher for students studying at NSC than they were for the other 271 AoC Colleges that submitted data. GCSE Maths pass rates were also impressive, with recorded A*-C grades being 4% higher than the AoC average.

Jo Millington, Curriculum Area Manager for Maths and English at NSC comments, “We are delighted with the results of the report. The data clearly shows that the hard work put in by NSC staff members and their students has really paid off. The College has been really encouraged by this and we hope to continue the success we have had so far in the future.”
