Cedar Lake Cellars Adds Local Tea Line

St. Louis winery to offer fermented probiotic beverage to menu.

St. Louis, MO, November 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a year-round winery and event venue, recently added a new local drink line to its menu.

KomBlu Kombucha is a fermented tea filled with probiotics that contribute to a healthy digestive system. Handcrafted in St. Louis, Mo., KomBlu was created by Andria Garcia in an effort to help her daughter’s chronic eczema. Cedar Lake Cellars will sell three flavors – citrus, ginger, and strawberry – for $14.99 per bottle and $4.99 per glass. KomBlu can also be used with any of the winery’s new mixed drink selection.

Kombucha, which has existed for more than 2,000 years, is known for improving digestion and immune function. It is packed with probiotics, B vitamins, enzymes, and organic acids. It starts as a sugary tea, which is then fermented with Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY), and becomes a superhero cocktail full of probiotics that contribute to a healthy digestive system.

The winery currently sells craft and domestic beer, as well as 16 Cedar Lake Cellars California or Paso Robles wines, 3 Swans handcrafted wines from the West Coast, 25 wines of the world, and signature wine slushies. A new mixed drink menu features a wide assortment of liquors and mixes to choose from.

The winery is open year-round Fri. through Sun. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those 21 and older with live music scheduled throughout the weekend.
