Sam received an education in cosmetology from The Aveda Fredric’s Institute in Cincinnati, meanwhile beginning her career in the industry as a salon receptionist using the Mikal software herself. She has experience running a large salon front desk with hair and spa services utilizing multiple computers. Sam began her career as a hairstylist in the Cincinnati area and has enjoyed success on the style and service side of the business. Maintaining her passion for the industry, while desiring to move towards a career in tech, she is thrilled with the opportunity to work for Mikal and marry the two. Her salon background has helped in her transition into her current position. Receptionist and stylist experience has fine tuned her skills on the phone, in sales, and in customer relations, and has given her a relate-able understanding of clients needs. She comments, “I hope to bring my knowledge of how salons operate from a front desk and stylist perspective to be able to service our clients in a unique way.
