Announcing #20Helps “Track Your Impact” Holiday Giving and Social Movement App | What Impact Will You Make?

Lehi, UT, December 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The 20Helps campaign was initiated in 2014 by 97th Floor Chief Operations Officer Wayne Sleight, as an alternative to traditional client gift-giving during the holiday season.

The premise of the 20Helps campaign is that something as simple as a 20-dollar bill can have a major impact on another's life, whether it shows up in the form of a tank of gas or an extra large tip. The concept and cause are further illustrated in the first #20Helps Holiday Campaign video Presented by 97th Floor (found on their YouTube channel) and holiday card, which included a message to their clients, colleagues, family and friends to give and then share stories on social media with the hashtag #20Helps.

“The 20Helps: Track Your Impact campaign was created to inspire and demonstrate to all those who participate that money can do so much good,” said Wayne Sleight. “Society often views money with many negative stereotypes but money is also such an impactful things when used in good ways. The innovation with this year’s iteration of the 20Helps campaign is now people can see and track all the good that a single bill has done in the world.”

Since the campaign’s inception, hundreds of stories have been shared on Twitter with the hashtag #20Helps.

At the start of 2017, 97th Floor Vice President of Marketing Operations Paxton Gray had an idea to take 20Helps to a new global level and officially launched the 20Helps Track Your Impact app on Giving Tuesday, November 28, 2017. The app, available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, allows you to “scan your bill, share your story (with text and photos) and track your impact” by following each bill, as well as everyone else giving, as they travels and impacts more lives.

“I’ve always loved the campaign because it encourages us to help out other people with cash, which often means we’re coming into contact with those we’re helping out,” Paxton Gray. “This year’s twist on that campaign helps us to further build connections with and lift up our community by allowing people to see the impact their bill made on the people around them. It also allows users to see the other generous acts of those around them, hopefully inspiring even more giving.”

The 20Helps website and app have been recognized by Pledge 1%, a non-profit founded by Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. Pledge 1% encourages corporate philanthropy by encouraging organizations to donate one percent of equity, time, product and profit to their communities.
