Moye White Announces New Partners, Welcomes Partner and Associate

Denver law firm Moye White LLP announced that Mike L. Fredregill and Patrick J. Hickey have been elected partners. The firm also welcomed Lucas T. Ritchie as a partner and Kelsey R. Bowers as an associate.

Denver, CO, January 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Moye White LLP announced that Mike L. Fredregill and Patrick J. Hickey have been elected partners effective January 1, 2018.

It was also announced that Lucas T. Ritchie and Kelsey R. Bowers have joined Moye White as a partner and associate, respectively. Both attorneys will be members of the firm’s Trial Section.

As a member of Moye White’s Real Estate Section, Mike Fredregill has broad experience in transactional and litigation matters. Fredregill predominantly assists clients with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development matters. He counsels local and national developers on a variety of issues, including construction and design build agreements and professional services agreements. Fredregill is an enthusiastic supporter of the Big Brothers Big Sisters® organization and he also serves on the Associate Board for the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School.

Patrick Hickey is a member of Moye White’s Trial Section and has represented clients in a variety of industries as a commercial litigator. These industries include oil and gas, real estate, employment, construction, and private equity. He also defends clients in administrative proceedings and arbitrations. A Wyoming native, Hickey is licensed to practice in both Wyoming and Colorado. He earned his law degree at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. Hickey serves on the Executive Council for the Colorado Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the Board of Directors for the Art Students League of Denver.

In his practice, Lucas Ritchie represents companies and individuals in regulatory investigations and complex commercial litigation. He has substantial experience in representing clients before federal, state, and private regulatory authorities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Colorado Department of Law, Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Colorado Civil Rights Division and EEOC, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

His trial court experience includes prosecuting and defending claims involving securities, corporate governance, business “divorce,” business torts and fraud, employment, and insurance matters.

Ritchie Co-Chairs the Securities Subsection of the Colorado Bar Association and serves on the Executive Councils of both the Litigation and Business Law Sections. He is also a board member or trustee for several community-based organizations.

Ritchie holds a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV® Preeminent™ (highest) and an Avvo Rating 10 – Superb. He was named to the list of Colorado Super Lawyers Rising Stars, 2009-17, for business litigation.

Prior to joining Moye White, Ritchie was a shareholder at Jones & Keller, P.C. in Denver, Colorado.

Kelsey Bowers is experienced in insurance defense where she has handled issues of workers’ compensation, employment law, Medicare, and general liability. In relation to Bowers’ court experience, she has presented at Administrative Court hearings, depositions, settlement conferences, and subrogation mediations. She has also drafted settlement agreements, position statements, appellate briefs, motions, and client communications.

Bowers was previously an associate at Lee & Kinder, LLC, in Denver, Colorado. Prior to that, she worked as a legal extern at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Bowers is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida, where she received a Women’s Volleyball Athletic Scholarship as the team captain.
