Dream Foundation to Fulfill Super Bowl Dream of Lifelong Philadelphia Eagles Fan

Philly native and Eagles fan to fulfill final Dream by attending Super Bowl LII.

Santa Barbara, CA, January 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Dream Foundation, the only national dream-granting organization for terminally-ill adults, will fulfill the final Dream of 62-year-old Philadelphia native Wayne Baird when he travels to Minneapolis, Minn. to cheer on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles as they take on the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

Baird’s daughter contacted Dream Foundation to tell of his father’s love for “all things Philly,” especially the Eagles, and his Dream of watching the team fight for a place in Super Bowl LII. Thanks to Dream Foundation, the Eagles’ victory over the Minnesota Vikings, and the team’s generous ticket arrangement, Baird will now be traveling to Minneapolis, courtesy of one of the organization’s Sustaining Partners, Southwest Airlines, to watch the Eagles in their quest to take home the Lombardi Trophy. Baird and his loving wife, Linda, will spend three nights in Minneapolis taking in all of the excitement that Super Bowl weekend offers.

Described by his daughter as a “dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, and a wonderful friend,” Baird is also known as a fighter, playing music from the movie “Rocky” and donning Rocky’s boxing robe as he travelled the hospital hallways receiving medical treatments. Baird hopes that the Eagles have the same fighting spirit as they head to the Super Bowl.
