New Book Offers Relatable Advice to Millennials on Growth, Positivity and Self-Acceptance

Getting COMFY: Your Morning Guide to Daily Happiness by Jordan Gross is a peer-to-peer perspective guide on the trials of millennial existence and navigating the discomforts of life. The book is now available for free download on Amazon.

New York, NY, January 31, 2018 --(PR.com)-- A new e-book by millennial author and Northwestern graduate Jordan Gross shares a relatable perspective on positive and independent thinking, productivity, and harnessing a consistent growth mindset.

Getting COMFY: Your Morning Guide to Daily Happiness serves as a guide offering peer-to-peer perspective on navigating transitional life periods and self-improvement. In a society susceptible to constant external pressure to succeed, Getting COMFY is a millennial-geared movement and internal method that thwarts these pressures at the start of each morning. It is a 5-step voyage that soothes the mind and energizes the body as you approach the rest of the day.

Getting COMFY distills Jordan’s experiences, experimentation and goals into a practical and relatable guide that follows a collection of recommendations. These recommendations emphasize trial and error, provide actionable steps for its readers and explain how to gauge an ideal and personalized routine:

· C – Calm: Achieving a positive, less anxious state of mind.
· O – Openness: Committing to being honest and open with ourselves and others.
· M – Movement: Celebrating the positive and blowing off the negative; moving forward.
· F – Funny: Using humor to overcome hardship.
· Y – You: Knowing and understanding yourself.

“Us millennials want what is COMFY. We do not like being told how to live by older generations, and the majority of literature based on how to handle transitional life periods comes from non-millennial sources,” says Gross. “I need to carry this message because nobody is.”

Gross graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Civic Engagement in 2016, earning a Master of Science in Management Studies from Kellogg School of Management just one year later. He currently resides in New York City and is in the process of starting a non-profit mission providing at-risk millennials with the opportunity to learn cooking skills to find employment in the restaurant space.

Getting COMFY: Your Morning Guide to Daily Happiness is available for free download on Amazon from Wednesday, January 31st until Sunday, February 4th, and will remain available for download thereafter at $.99. The paperback and audiobook versions will be available this spring.
