MIT Bootcamps and Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care Launch the MIT-HMS Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp

MIT and the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care are launching a new accelerated-learning program on healthcare, innovation, and entrepreneurship taught by instructors from both universities.

Cambridge, MA, February 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- In August 2018, MIT Bootcamps and the Center will join forces to offer its first MIT-HMS Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp, with a focus on digital health, diagnostics, care delivery and systems innovation. The program will bring together 60–90 innovators from across the world to equip them with tools to innovate in healthcare.

At a time where healthcare transformation is needed most, the Bootcamp will form a global community of innovators passionate about the most complex problems in healthcare.

Admission to MIT Bootcamps is highly selective and based on the following criteria: initiative and follow through, open and critical thinking, capacity for calculated risk, and focus on community.

From the first five Bootcamps (2014-2017), Bootcamp alumni have found co-founders and launched more than 100 startups, and raised over $50m in funding for their ventures across a variety of industries.
