About Lynne A. Borchers

Lynne’s practice focuses on patent litigation involving a diverse array of technologies, including electronics, communications, computer technology, textiles, and chemical compositions. She has litigated complex patent disputes in various U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. She has over twenty years of experience, including as lead trial attorney and in all aspects of discovery, case management, inter partes reviews, appeals and settlements. Lynne also is registered to practice before the USPTO. Prior to co-founding Sage Patent Group, Lynne was Managing Partner of a large IP boutique. Before her legal career, she was an electrical engineer designing radar and electronic countermeasures systems. Lynne also has unique experience as a Merchant Marine Officer and as an Officer in the United State Naval Reserve.
