Plymouth, MN, March 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- PWYSA Receives Grant from Twins Community Fund

The Plymouth Wayzata Youth Softball Association (PWYSA) is pleased to announce the Twins Community Fund has awarded the organization a matching equipment grant for its' growing travel and recreation leagues. The PWYSA Board of Directors is excited and grateful that the Twins Community Fund has recognized and supported the need to fund equipment for our female athletes.

“Every summer and fall, PWYSA supports over 300 female athletes in our softball programs and training clinics, while upholding the standards of our mission statement,” says President Keith Pelatowski. He continues “Receiving this grant allows PWYSA to fulfill our mission by supplying functional equipment so players can have a desirable and safe experience. Our Board is appreciative.”

The Plymouth Wayzata Youth Softball Association (PWYSA) promotes the game of fastpitch softball as a means to teach girls the value of teamwork and sportsmanship, to enhance self-esteem and to develop softball skills - all in a positive environment.

Shortly, both players and families will see the benefits of this grant as the spring season kicks-off in March with indoor softball practice.

Thank you to the Twins Community Fund for enriching PWYSA community by providing resources to enhance the development of young athletes through softball. For more information about the Twins Community Fund visit the team’s official Web site at www.twinscommunityfund.org.
