)-- SimplyCast, a leader in engagement automation, is announcing its compliance to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to be put into effect by the European Union on May 25, 2018. This regulation requires any entities who store or process personal data from E.U. residents to adhere to additional rights granted to these residents in regard to this data.
After completing an audit of its existing processes and infrastructure and making some changes, SimplyCast is completely prepared to comply with this new regulation when it comes into effect, with the ability to efficiently respond to data access and deletion requests as well as any other time-sensitive requirements.

In an effort to promote and increase awareness of the upcoming GDPR, SimplyCast also plans to launch a seven-week email course to help prepare its clients for the changes that will come into effect under this regulation. This email course is designed to educate anyone who signs up about the new rights that will be granted to individuals regarding their access to and the control of their personal data and what will happen if compliance is not met.
