MommyTalk.com Adds TV Show , "MT TV," to Social Website for Moms

Popular Social Networking Site for Moms Launches TV Show to Air on MommyTalk.com Beginning March 17.

New York, NY, March 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MommyTalk.com, one of the first online communities for moms, announced today that it will break into a new medium, television. The mom-run site recently filmed the first 10 episodes in New York City of MT TV, a show that gets moms talking in a setting similar to the daytime talk show “The View.” MT TV also takes moms around the city with “mom on the street” interviews.

The show, which will air for the first time on March 17 on MommyTalk.com, is hosted by local New York and New Jersey life coach, therapist and author, Diane Lang. Lang is a regular columnist on MommyTalk.com, where she provides advice to moms who are considering going back to work after having children.

“I am so excited to be a part of MT TV and was honored to be able to host such a fun show,” said Lang. “The filming went amazingly smoothly, despite all the kids running around in the background (our husbands handled them just fine!). I think this show will send a very positive message to moms around the world, that while times can get tough and hectic, it is possible to find a solid balance of family, life, friends and fun.”

MT TV will run live on MommyTalk.com, featuring short segments on a variety of subjects from balancing a mother’s life to where to have the best kid’s birthday parties. MT TV also delves into more controversial topics such as politics, religion and more.

“It was such a great experience to get MommyTalkers from around the nation together in New York City for the first filming of MT TV,” said Rachel Dunn, senior editor of MommyTalk.com. “The show is really relaxed and low-key; it’s just a bunch of moms being real with each other, which I think we don’t see very often. I am looking forward to getting even more moms from the site together for the next filming.”

Membership on MommyTalk.com is free, and visitors to the site can enjoy most of the site’s offerings. The site boasts an unusually controversial forum, new feature articles daily on the homepage, customizable family and kid pages and more. The site launched in August 2006 and has since gained a following of moms across the world.
