About Litigation Capital Management (LCM)
LCM is one of the oldest litigation finance firms globally, with its origins in the Australian insolvency market in 1998.
Since then, LCM has broadened into financing commercial claims, class actions, intellectual property disputes and international arbitrations. LCM also finances matters around the globe – and has worked on opportunities in the UK, the USA and Asia – as well as Australia.
LCM listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in December 2016 and is now one of only a few listed litigation finance firms worldwide.
Third-party litigation funding, which expands the access to justice in the continuously evolving economic setting by providing plaintiffs with resources to litigate in exchange for a cut of any monetary recovery and control of litigation outcomes, has increased its involvement in the global dispute resolution landscape.
