U.S. Government Leaders to About Talk Strategies and Capabilities for Their Digital Transformations

On June 19-20, 2018, senior leaders across the U.S. Government will convene in Washington, D.C. for two days of briefings and dialogue on digitalization strategies and technical capabilities to improve government IT ecosystems at Defense Strategies Institute’s "Town Hall" Digital Transformation for Government Summit.

Washington, DC, April 13, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The highly anticipated legislation to modernize the federal government’s aging information technology infrastructure is now law with the passing of the Modernizing Government Technology Act. How will agencies move forward in their evolving digital transformation in the next few years? What is the role that industry will and can play? What will this mean for their end-users, and how will this help improve their overarching mission?

“From leadership and management methodologies that embrace processes such as agile methodologies and open source development, to digitalization strategies and technical capabilities...enterprise infrastructures that are user-centric, innovative and fast...it takes an understanding of not only what are the current problems to be fixed, but what is actually trying to be achieved to begin to answer the questions above, and hence why we are convening this Summit for the community,” stated Monica Mckenzie, Senior Partner at Defense Strategies Institute.

The dialogue will focus on the near term and includes over 15 plenary sessions from speakers including:
