DTR Inc.’s Work Readiness and Customer Service Training Program a Success in South Africa

Networx For Career Development, a division of The Networx Group, a South African nonprofit corporation used DTR Inc CEO Jay Goldberg’s book, Comprehensive Work Readiness and Customer Service Training Program as the base for its successful program.

West Palm Beach, FL, May 04, 2018 --( Jay Goldberg has a long history of success developing work readiness training programs. His all in one book, Comprehensive Work Readiness and Customer Service Training Program includes a program orientation, four modules (workplace basics, workplace skills, people skills, customer service), scenarios which can be used to generate certification tests, a program philosophy centered on demonstrated competencies over assessment testing, instructions on how to write competency statements, program-level competency statements, optional module competency statements, and competency statement tracking forms.

In South Africa, graduates are having difficulty finding employment. The nonprofit corporation, the Networx Group, identified one of the major obstacles for graduates getting hired was the gap between the expectations of employers and recent graduates; employers tend to expect graduates to be ready to run with their new jobs when hired, while graduates expect employers to show them the ropes.

So Networx established a six month workplace training and coaching program; two months of training, and four months of on the job practical skills based coaching.

The goals of their program were:
200 graduates recruited to receive training and on the job coaching.
At least 90% (180 candidates) of the candidates will successfully complete the program.
At least 50% (90 candidates) of the candidates that complete the program will get hired at the end of the program.

The centerpiece for the two months of training is Jay Goldberg’s book, Comprehensive Work Readiness and Customer Service Training Program.

Here are the results of the six month program:
200 people enrolled
91.5% completed the program
70% were employed at the end of the program
