CASY & MSCCN Launch Career Training Programs for Military-Affiliated Job Seekers with Support from USAA and Ed4Online

New program will bring military and Veteran communities more career training opportunities.

Lake St. Louis, MO, May 17, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Corporate America Supports You (CASY) and Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) announce the start of their expanded online career training program, built on their successful Career Corps volunteer program. The expanded program, which provides coursework in human resources management, is made possible by a grant from USAA and will be supported by Ed4Online.

CASY & MSCCN’s career training will provide military-affiliated job seekers with industry training, hands-on experience, mentorship from a subject-matter expert, and potential placement.

Stacy Bayton, Senior Executive Vice President, explained the value of the program. “Many of our job seekers need to explore careers or gain experience to make themselves competitive as they start in specific fields,” she said. “This program offers them training as well as practical experience to make them attractive candidates for employers. Program participants will be better prepared to pursue careers in their chosen fields.”

The first cohorts begin this month. Career Corps Manager Bianca Nafpliotis noted the excitement surrounding the program.: “We’ve had a great response from job seekers who are looking for these types of opportunities - remote professional development built with their military lifestyles in mind,” she said. “We are excited to expand our Career Corps program and offer these services to our community.”

USAA’s financial support and Ed4Online’s educational tools make these opportunities possible for veterans, transitioning service members, Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, caregivers, and dependents.
