Blood Donation Day in Creta Maris "Give Blood, Save Lives"

Hersonissos, Greece, June 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Putting into practice the message "Give blood, save lives," 40 employees and the resort’s management team, after receiving the final approval of the responsible physician, participated in the annual blood donation that was held under the auspices of Venizelio Pananeio - General Hospital of Heraklion.

Creta Maris Beach Resort management introduced for the first time the Blood Donation Day in 1992, with the aim to encourage as many employees as possible and the local community, to become volunteer blood donors.

The strong response of the staff resulted in the annual establishment of the blood donation program and the creation of a Blood Bank, in Venizelio Hospital of Heraklion that serves dozens of surgeries and serious incidents.
