)-- The American Law Society is proud to announce Vincent F. Gerbino has been accepted as a new member among America's Top Lawyers by the American Law Society Board. The American Law Society is an invitation-only platform comprised of verified lawyers that demonstrate a professional history of excellence and also possess the positive ethical qualities of an esteemed lawyer.
A Founder and Partner at the law firm, Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano, LLP, Vincent F. Gerbino has practiced for over 30 years. The firm is primarily focused on no-fault medical provider fraud investigation and affirmative recovery suit litigation, for which Mr. Gerbino plays a key role litigating affirmative suits for positive recovery. His practice also includes general liability defense matters consisting of premises liability, vehicular negligence, tort assaults and coverage analysis. Mr. Gerbino leads multi-faceted investigations on behalf of his insurance clients and routinely conducts Examinations Under Oath of claimants and medical providers.
Mr. Gerbino is renowned as a trailblazer in his field. Notably, his contribution as the lead in the legendary case of $28 million in insurance fraud against a doctor wrongly paid monies under the “New York No-Fault Law.” The case was marked by the jury’s unconventional decision in the favor of the insurance carriers still remains the only jury verdict on the issue of fraudulent incorporation.
Further, Mr. Gerbino recently published the article, “Beyond the Insured: Uncovering Misrepresentations in Insurance Applications,” for Claims Management in November 2016. His previous article, “You Won, Now Try and Collect,” appeared in the same publication in December 2015. He earned his Juris Doctorate at St. John’s University School in 1988 and a Bachelor of Arts focused on Political Science from New York University in 1985.
The American Law Society's Board of Directors selectively chooses lawyers who show a history of greatness and consistency. It is a privilege to have Vincent F. Gerbino join the organization.
"We look forward to following Mr. Gerbino’s future articles and career successes and partnerships in his community," says Valerie Arnold, a member of the American Law Society Board.
