Joetta Clark Diggs’ Senior Olympics Held at The Gateway Family YMCA

Five Points Branch Members Participate in Senior Olympics

Union, NJ, June 20, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Gateway Family YMCA, in partnership with Joetta Clark Diggs, Four-time Olympian, hosted the Joetta Clark Diggs’ Senior Olympics at the Five Points Branch, 201 Tucker Avenue, Union NJ on Wednesday, May 30th. More than 100 participants and spectators were in attendance at the event.

Sponsored by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and the Joetta Clark Diggs Sports Foundation, Joetta Clark Diggs’ Senior Olympics included an array of events for participants ages 55 and up designed to increase activity, while providing a fun challenge. Games and events included the following: Horse Shoe Pitch, Hula Hoop, Soccer, Bowling and a timed obstacle course. Free gifts and awards were provided to participants.
