Creating Unity in Social Betterment - The Clearwater Community Volunteer Center Accommodates New Connections

Clearwater, FL, June 16, 2018 --(PR.com)-- On the 12th of June, the Clearwater Community Volunteer Center hosted various members of the non-profit community for a monthly networking luncheon. Organized with the intention of creating new connections between the community activist groups, guests enjoyed a complimentary lunch buffet, followed by a talk on networking by veteran volunteer Doyle Mills.

Doyle Mills has spent several decades volunteering with different humanitarian programs – even meeting Pope John Paul II in the course of his endeavors. It is now one of his passions to help charities and their volunteers to increase their networking skills.

The guests applied what they learned by making new contacts, informing others of their programs and goals to bring new partnerships into the nonprofit fold.

“The Clearwater Community Volunteer Center was established to increase nonprofits’ influence in the community.” said Michael Soltero, manager of the center. “Each of them impacts their own area of influence and by uniting efforts toward the improvement of today’s society, we can make the difference. It’s as humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard once said, ’The community that pulls together can make a better society for all’.”

The next luncheon will be held on the 31st of July at 11:30 a.m. with new nonprofits being invited to encourage more connections. There is no cost to attend.
