Pelagie Foundation Opens Transitional Home

Acworth, GA, June 20, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Pelagie Foundation is thrilled to announce it has acquired a property to be used as a transitional home for the homeless in our community.

This home is owned and operated by the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to assist those in need through empowerment. The home is just one of the many ways Pelagie provides assistance, as the foundation also serves through:
· food assistance,
· immigration services,
· resume writing assistance,
· cell phone assistance, and
· financial support in certain scenarios.

The majority of these other methods of assistance are provided at the Foundation's Acworth office.

The Pelagie home is, like all of the Foundation's services, intended to be a temporary solution to help friends and neighbors return to self-sufficiency. We encourage residents to engage with the Foundation in order to make strides towards this goal.

While Pelagie is thrilled to have the home's residents stay, the Foundation’s main goal is to construct a base from which our beneficiaries can build on. It is thus the organization's hope that through this home, Pelagie can build a better future for both residents and the organization.

The Pelagie Foundation is an Acworth, Georgia, based 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Foundation’s mission is to assist those that are less fortunate in a manner that both will empower them and allow them to keep their self-dignity while receiving assistance.
