)-- Kukimbe, creator of the first comprehensive mobile application that puts endurance races at a runner’s fingertips, today announces the Kukimbe Summer Running Challenge. Kukimbe wants to bring more students to the sport of running by helping them find new and challenging races at a discount.
Kukimbe has partnered with over fifty races - from 5Ks to marathons - in the US and in Canada that will provide a special student rate. Students can find the races that offer discounts by searching the Kukimbe app for “summer challenge.” All participating races will be displayed with the discount amount, discount codes if applicable, and a link to register.
During the summer, students and other runners can share running themed selfies using #KukimbeSummer on Instagram and Facebook to enter a contest to win various prizes.
“We are excited to see so many races across the US and Canada participate to help bring more students to the sport of running,” said Kelly Gerard, CEO and Co-Founder of Kukimbe. “We read over and over about how the sport can help young athletes develop into adults who are better equipped to handle the challenges of life, and we’re happy to help build the community of young runners.”
