2018 Women’s Business Center Business & Entrepreneurial Leadership Conference "Follow the Yellow Brick Road"

Houston, TX, July 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Women Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) & The Women's Business Center (WBC) are proud to present the WBC’s Business & Entrepreneurial Leadership Conference. The WBC’s collaborating sponsors are Houston Community College Procurement and Small Business Development and Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses. The Women's Business Center is focused on providing the building blocks to sure up businesses: strategizing, gaining an edge and growing through sound business practices. This two day business and leadership conference will be held at Houston Community College’s beautiful West Institute, September 7-8, 2018. As attendees Follow the Yellow Brick Road, they will feature encouraging keynote speakers and dynamic breakout sessions designed for equipping Texas Entrepreneurs with help in getting and keeping a pulse on their business to thrive in today's business environment. Tim Jeffcoat, District Director, Houston, U.S. Small Business Administration states, “This dynamic conference is a ‘must-attend’ for women business owners and those that aspire to start one. The content will be practical while also inspiring women to achieve more and more.”

The Women's Business Center is committed to bringing 200 business thought leaders together in order to provide engaging, informative sessions on financials, financing, business development, operational best practices, leading a small business and work life mental health balance. This is a great opportunity to explore and strengthen an entrepreneur’s business acumen, cultivate their network, and connect with like-minded business owners. There will be three targeted business paths that have been crafted to enhance their business needs: Enterprising Businesses (under $4M in revenue), Start Up Businesses (less than $350K in revenue) and the Corp-Preneur (business professionals interested in transitioning by way of ownership or investment). In an effort to nurture and cultivate young people interested in entrepreneurship as a career option, Saturday will highlight a special track for the “Munchkin” Young Entrepreneur ages 12-18.
