Operation Food Search's Brian Wieher Earns National Certification

Wieher, only one of three in Missouri to hold this credential.

St. Louis, MO, July 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search’s Director of Child & Family Nutrition Brian Wieher recently earned his Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Management Professionals Certification from the National CACFP Sponsor Association. Wieher is only one of three professionals in Missouri to have this credential.

The Certification is a special designation for those in the CACFP profession who are committed to continuously learning best practices and keeping up with changing trends in the field. The designation shows Wieher has proficiency in numerous specialties including nutrition, program operations and administration, civil rights and policy, financial and non-profit management, and training and technology.

“This certification demonstrates Brian’s enduring commitment to the Child and Adult Care Food Program,” said OFS Executive Director Sunny Schaefer. “We are extremely proud of Brian’s achievement and all that it encompasses.”

Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education. With a strategic focus aimed at ending childhood hunger, OFS empowers families with a range of programs and services proven to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthy and affordable food.
