Kelley Kronenberg Welcomes Partner Regina Franco Murphey and Attorney Jacob S. Slotin to Its Fort Lauderdale Office

Fort Lauderdale, FL, July 27, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, announced that Regina Franco Murphey has joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as a Partner and Jacob (Jake) S. Slotin has joined as an Attorney.

Murphey focuses her practice on all aspects of liability and casualty defense. She represents a diverse range of clients in general liability matters including wrongful death, transportation liability, premises liability, automobile negligence, construction defect litigation, admiralty and insurance defense.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Murphey served as In-House Counsel for two national insurance companies. She has litigated first and third party insurance claims from inception through trial and has nearly a decade of experience as First Chair Lead Attorney in jury trials.

Murphey earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and she is fluent in Spanish.

Slotin assists in handling matters related to all aspects of liability and casualty defense with a focus on Third-Party Defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Slotin worked as an Associate Attorney for a prominent Florida insurance defense firm where he represented clients in general liability matters including medical malpractice, legal malpractice, professional liability, negligent security, construction defect litigation, wrongful death, trucking and transportation liability, premises liability, automobile negligence, and general insurance defense.

Slotin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Philosophy from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, he served as a Clerk for Judge Stephanie Ray in Florida’s First District Court of Appeal. He is admitted to practice law in Florida.
