New Vac-Con Construction & Utility Dealer

Ring Power Utility Equipment Division Joins Network of Dealers

Green Cove Springs, FL, August 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Vac-Con® announced today that it has expanded its CU (Construction & Utility) dealer network with the addition of Ring Power Utility Equipment Division.

Ring Power is a privately held, heavy equipment distributor headquartered in St. Augustine, Florida. Established in 1961, Ring Power has built a quality reputation as an equipment supplier with one of the industry’s largest product line-ups, all backed by best-in-class parts and service support. As a CU dealer, Ring Power Utility Equipment Divisionties Group will provide contractor end-users with the rental and sales of the Vac-Con hydro-excavation product line for primary use in the construction industry.

“Ring Power has an upstanding reputation in the construction industry, which is primed and ready for hydro-excavation machines,” said Todd Masley, Executive Vice President, Vac-Con. “Our dealer partnership with Ring Power is a strong foot forward into this sector, in which the importance of safe, non-destructive digging is becoming a resounding factor. Our hydro-excavation machines, both truck and trailer-mounted, are designed to function as either individual machines or in tandem with traditional methods of digging often seen on the job site. Ultimately, we see this opportunity with Ring Power propelling us into a new market with confident optimism of the results to follow.”

The hydro-excavation portfolio includes the X-Cavator™ and Mudslinger™ machines. The X-Cavator from Vac-Con is a truck-mounted hydro-excavation machine designed to handle tough jobs but with the utmost precision including trenching, potholing, daylighting, exposing underground utilities, oil and gas distribution lines, and much more. The X-Cavator units are available with:

· Vacuum System: High performance with positive displacement blower
· Filtration: Dual cyclonic separators
· Hydrostatic Drive: Variable speeds for both water and vacuum systems
· Water Pump: 20 GPM/4,000 PSI with variable settings
· Boom: Rear-mounted, telescopic, articulating PowerFlex boom
· Boom Controls: Manual pendants and wireless controls
· Storage: Ample compartments, all aluminum construction
· Debris Body: Corten® steel construction available in 3yds. to 16 yds.
· Water Capacity: 500 gals. to 1,300 gals.

Popular options include diesel-fired boilers, air compressor 185 cfm with air knife, and much more.

The Mudslinger is designed and manufactured by Vector Technologies Ltd., a Vac-Con company. This powerful yet compact trailer-mounted machine features a combination high-pressure/low flow water jet system with a high-performance vacuum.

The method of hydro-excavation utilizes high-pressure water and vacuum to precisely cut through soil and debris without causing damage to underground structures or disturbing the soil around it. Hydro-excavation is gaining popularity in the construction industry due to its efficiency, precision, and non-destructive capabilities. In addition, hydro-excavation mitigates the risk of damaging underground utilities, which can cause both financial and worker safety concerns.
