Thunder Energies (TNRG) Announces the Appointment of a Representative for the Application of Directional Neutron Sources to the Mining Industry

Tarpon Springs, FL, August 30, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Ruggero M. Santilli, CEO and Chief Scientist of Thunder Energies Corporation, a publicly traded company with stock symbol (OTCQB:TNRG), announces the appointment of a Representative for the application of Directional Neutron Sources to the mining industry (http://thunder-energies.com/docs/TEC-DNS-3Za.pdf).

Dr. Santilli states, "Thunder Energies Directional Neutron Source is ideally suited to identify the presence and concentration of precious metals in mining operations. This is due to the fact that, as well established in nuclear physics, metals experience a transmutation to other natural elements when irradiated with neutrons while jointly emitting gamma photons with a frequency which is characteristics of the irradiated metal. As an example, when irradiated with neutrons, gold (Au) is transmuted into mercury (Hg) with the emission of a gamma with the characteristic frequency of 1.372 MeV (http://atom.kaeri.re.kr:8080/ton/index.html)."

"The application of our neutron source to the mining industry essentially consists of irradiating the walls of tunnels with a neutron flux. Our Directional neutron Source then has distinct advantages over other technologies since it allows to release on demand a flux of neutron in a mine wall or floor selected for scanning. The identification via commercially available gamma detectors of a gamma frequency specific to a given metal establishes the presence of that metal in the irradiated wall. The number of the detected gammas compared to the gamma contained in the background allows the identification of the concentration of the metal considered. I am pleased to announce the appointment of a Representative for the mining industry for the development of this important branch of our technologies."
