LetterDash Launches Platform to Help You Send Demand Letters from Local Attorneys to Anyone Fast and Cheap

LetterDash, a legal service startup, announced the launch of a platform that helps you send demand letters from local attorneys to anyone, for anything, fast and cheap offering, an alternative solution to the traditional hassle of retaining a lawyer or the bloated costs associated with doing so.

Sunnyvale, CA, August 31, 2018 --(PR.com)-- LetterDash, a legal service startup, announced the launch of a platform that helps you send demand letters from local attorneys to anyone, for anything, fast and cheap, as an alternative solution to the traditional hassle of retaining a lawyer and the bloated costs associated with doing so.

A founding member of LetterDash said, “Our individual experiences in searching for and retaining an attorney when a demand letter was required for both personal or professional matters was identical. If any of us needed a demand letter drafted and sent out by a licensed attorney quickly, related to a breach of contract, a client issue, neighbor, doctor, another lawyer, girlfriend, etc., it was like pulling teeth. Of the dozen attorneys we'd reach out to, most of them claimed to be too busy to take on a one-off demand letter. Some of them didn't bother responding. Some said they weren't interested, didn't desire that type of work or didn't offer that type of service. After waiting two weeks, one or two of them quoted $1,500-$3,000. This is a pain shared by all of our customers."

What LetterDash found though is that attorneys are looking for freelance type work more now than ever, even the ones that are already serving as general counsel for more than one company, and LetterDash's platform provides this opportunity to those attorneys while also addressing the many pains associated with clients finding and retaining a licensed attorney to draft and send an official demand or legal letter quickly at an affordable price.

LetterDash initially launched to assist business users in sending legal letters to their clients related to breach of contract or nonpayment but later opened the platform up to anyone for anything. They run a flat fee service of $199 per letter compared to the average of $1375 users would pay by going directly to an attorney or law firm for the same letter.

According to LetterDash, more than 80% of users are sending letters to their neighbors, their girlfriends, their landlords, their tenants, their town municipality - and those letters mainly consist of cease and desists and intent to sue. LetterDash says the recipient response rates are above 90% thus far. More than 90% of users settle their demands with a simple letter through LetterDash, according to LetterDash Rep.
