Nashville, TN, September 13, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Host and founder of the Nashville Leadership Luncheon, Blain Wease, of the Provincial Development Group, announced today that the keynote speaker for the 2018 Fall event will be Darrell Waltrip, whose NASCAR racing career earned him three Winston Cup Series Championships and a place in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Now a respected Fox Sports analyst and broadcaster, Darrell has had a very full career giving him a unique insight on what it takes to make it to the top and a practical way of translating the leadership required in the NASCAR circuit, into the business arena.

“Leadership is a vital aspect of life, I learned this on and off of the race track. Whether it was leadership in the pits, or leadership leading up to a race, winning was always contingent on solid, strong leadership. Because of the role that leadership has played in my life, both personally and professionally, I am looking forward to sharing some perspectives at the Nashville’s Leadership Luncheon at the Bridgestone Arena in October." - Darrell Waltrip

Darrell’s keynote is presented by Capital Financial Group, in partnership with the Nashville Leadership Luncheon. Continuum Planning Partners is presenting the ALL Star Panel, including Kirk Hintz, CEO at Radiology Alliance, Mila Grigg, CEO of MODA Image and Brand Consulting, as well as Reggie Polk, President at Polk & Associates. The Title Partners of the event are the Nashville Predators and the Bridgestone Arena.

Darrell will be joined by distinguished guest, country music artist, Jo Dee Messina.

About Darrell Waltrip

Darrell’s road to success started at age 12 driving go-karts, but he quickly went on to become an accomplished short track driver. “Wherever I would go, I was almost assured I was going to win one or two races a week, and I made a good living doing that. It was difficult to step to the big leagues and be just another fish in a big pond. So, it took some time for me to make up my mind that I needed to get in there, give it 100 percent and make my mark.”  - Darrell Waltrip

Through perseverance and a lot of commitment Darrell earned a name for himself in the racing world. Winner of the Winston cup three times, as well as 37 Superspeedway victories, among many other racing achievements, Darrell was deservedly inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. Besides racing Darrell is also husband, father, best-selling author, and winner of the 4th Quarter SPIRIT award for his charity work with Waltrip Brothers Charity Championship. He has even had parts in feature films such as Disney Pixar’s CARS series and Talladega Nights. Darrell is currently a successful broadcaster and analyst for Fox Sports and resides in Franklin, Tennessee.
