Durango, CO, October 04, 2018 --(PR.com
)-- Great Old Broads for Wilderness invites you to “surf” their Wild for Wilderness Online Auction and support one of the few women-led public advocacy organizations for wild lands and waters in the country. The 15th annual Wild for Wilderness Online Auction fundraiser goes live Sunday, October 28 through Sunday, November 11, 2018. Online auction surfers can bid on adventure trips and vacation getaways, hosted homestays, top-of-the-line outdoor gear, clothing and footwear; jewelry, art, books, and more. Proceeds support Broads’ education, advocacy, and stewardship programs focused on training and inspiring advocates to preserve wilderness and wild places for future generations.
Some of the more intriguing items on the auction ocean-block include a 3-day Colorado River Rafting Trip for 2 in Westwater Canyon in Colorado and Utah; a privately-guided Wolf & Wildlife Watching Tour in Yellowstone National Park; and a 3-night high-end getaway at Quinta Refugio, featuring epic valley views on 10 acres in Santa Barbara, California’s wine country. Other items include an Osprey NOVA Women’s Urban to Trail Day Pack; a Wetland Restoration Tour, Wildflower Walk, and Picnic for up to 8 at Muir Beach in Marin County, California; and an ALPS Mountaineering 20-degree sleeping bag. There is a sea of items to choose from, providing something for every taste and budget—from a wining and dining to fabulous footwear, and much more. Visit http://auction.greatoldbroads.org to browse the auction and register for bidding.
The Wild for Wilderness Online Auction is a holiday and vacation shopping tradition for thousands of members and supporters who participate each year. This year’s auction sponsors are Alpine Bank, Imlay Canyon Gear, and Bank of Colorado.
