)-- Riverbend Sandler surpassed its peers to win a prestigious industry design award from The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP).
The Dallas & Plano based company received 2 APSP International Awards for Excellence for 2 different categories.
The 1st Award of Excellence received is a Silver Award in the Residential Concrete Pools - Traditional - 600 Sq. Ft. or Less category, for a project located in Plano, TX. This project features a small formal pool with raised infinity spa and a water feature wall. The yard is located on the side of the property and the designer followed the shape of the home for maximum square footage and used the sounds of the sheer descents to create the feel of more water.
The 2nd Award of Excellence received is a Bronze Award in the Residential Concrete Pools - Pools with a Vanishing Edge - 601 Sq. Ft. or More category, for a project located in Dallas, TX. This custom project features a formal pool with an all tile interior, sheer descents, raised spa and a vanishing edge into a fountain. The pool was designed to match the newly planned French Chateau. The pool was constructed along with the home, and both took over a year to build.
Firms across the United States and around the world submit hundreds of entries to the competition each year. The APSP International Awards of Excellence program then recognizes the most beautiful and creative installations of pools, spas, hot tubs and water features.
