National Van Lines Welcomes Andersen Van & Storage, Inc.
Broadview, IL, November 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- National Van Lines proudly welcomes a new addition to their interstate-moving family. Andersen Van & Storage, Inc., based in Santa Maria, CA, joined the team Oct. 1, 2018.
Andersen Van & Storage opened its doors in 1996 after President Mark Andersen left his operation manager position at a local mover and realized greener pastures (or busier highways) lie ahead.
“I quickly fell in love with the high pace of the moving business,” Andersen said. “The greatest thing about our industry is the fact that every day is different. That, along with the high-octane days of summer, keep me in love with the business.”
The family operation includes Mark’s wife, Nanci, as Secretary/Treasurer and Office Manager (with oversight over communications and customer service) and their daughter, Megan, who, as Vice President, manages quality control and conducts moving estimates. Megan even pitches in as a packer when required.
Andersen Van & Storage previously was affiliated with Arpin Van Lines and Global Van Lines. Now, the company’s leaders are expressing optimism their partnership with National Van Lines will lead to great things.
“With National Van Lines, we have rediscovered our confidence,” Mark said, “and that will greatly affect our sales and promotion. We truly look forward to this partnership and are ready and raring to go. Our future goals are to continue building our business by increasing visibility in any way we can. We are always open to new forms of business and, with our daughter in a position to identify and put into process these opportunities, we are ready for anything coming here in the future.”
The Andersens also dedicate themselves to the relocation industry at large. Megan is the Central Coast Chapter President for the California Moving & Storage Association. Mark was the organization’s Chairman of the Board during 2006 and served on CMSA’s Executive Committee from 1998 to 2016.
