The International Association of Who’s Who Has Inducted Joan Kinnick Into the Hall of Fame

San Antonio, TX, November 30, 2018 --(PR.com)-- With a prestigious and award-nominated career in sales and account management, Joan Kinnick has spent almost two decades as an integral member of United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Joan first began to develop an interest in business and accounting when she studied at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin. She studied to be an office and business clerk with accounting and business management and graduated in 1983, before heading straight into a career in sales and customer service. This pursuit proved to be a wide-ranging and successful one, with Joan making her mark in several lucrative companies, before moving on to United Rentals in 2000, when the organization was in relative infancy.

She has based her career at United Rentals ever since, currently in the capacity of Senior Inside Sales Representative. Her work has brought the company much acclaim, and numerous awards for herself, in recognition of her excellent performance and dedication to the organization. These have included the Year Over Year Growth Award 2014 and a number of branch awards for Top ROCA Percentage. Over the course of her career with United Rentals, she has garnered considerable acclaim for her performance in account management, pricing, customer service and sales.

In 2008, Joan decided to return to education to further her professional capacity. She attended the Northcentral Technical College in Wisconsin to study for an Associate degree in Business Management. During this time, she was an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society for two-year students, and she graduated in 2015. The next year she returned to Northcentral Technical College to pursue another Associate degree, this time in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, which she plans to complete in 2018. She has resumed her involvement with Phi Theta Kappa during this period of study.

Joan’s pursuits outside of her work with United Rentals keep her very busy. She is a consultant for Pampered Chef, which involves hosting product parties, and is a special event coordinator for Caring Vendor Events, requiring her to organize craft fundraising events for community projects. She is also an active volunteer for the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, and previously served as the society’s ambassador for two years.

Joan’s efforts in multiple areas of the construction industry has attracted praise. She was nominated as a VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, and says, “I pride myself on consistently delivering high levels of customer service, multitasking and account management.”
